Hey, that was my car battery. And I did move it. I also hit a possum with a wiffle ball there and fell down drunk too many times to count.

  • 11th Avenue Inn (Seattle B&B), dfw206 (guest) wrote 17 years ago:
The Inn is located in a walkable residential neighborhood, just up the hill from the center of downtown. It's on a tree-lined side street with other houses and apartments from the turn-of-the-century. Downtown Seattle and the WA State Convention and Trade Center are both a mile away - a 20 minute walk past the 10-acre Cal Anderson Park and down pedestrian-friendly Pike & Pine Streets, full of restaurants, unique shops, coffeehouses, etc. Seven bus lines run within three blocks of the Inn, including buses that go directly to Downtown, the Convention Center, Pike Place Market, Seattle Center (Space Needle), and the University of Washington. The 11th Avenue Inn is conveniently nestled between three active and eclectic Capitol Hill neighborhood entertainment and shopping districts: Broadway, Pike/Pine, and 15th Avenue. There are 50 restaurants within a 15 minute walk. Rates range from $69 - $169 depending on the season and length of stay and include parking and full service hot breakfast.

Update: Bulldozed. Going to be condominiums. Damn shame, too. I bet the guys who ran the 7-11 were more friendly and outgoing than the people living in the condos will be.

  • Providence Market, rolandovich (guest) wrote 17 years ago:
Plenty of beer, smokes, and anything else you would need for a stop in to a corner market. Friendly staff. A good place to meet friends and family after work. Scratch that last line.
