    Although there are still quite a few car lots in the area, the main thoroughfare is becoming more interesting as housing prices in the tonier neighborhoods increase. I've noticed more and more professional couples and families in their 30's moving into the area because a nice piece of property on a wooded lot is stil avaialble for under $400K. Bartell Drugs is investing heavily in a brand new retail complex. Good Thai restaurants, ethnic groceries and second-hand stores make for an interesting stroll.
