Seattle, Washington recent comments:

My wife and I looked at buying a house here. The decorations came with the house, and the "obligations" were explained to us. The realtor also complained about the neighbors who never decorate. The great irony is that the larger neighborhood has a high Jewish population.

  • Candycane Lane, (guest) wrote 18 years ago:
Sure, but since it's been a part of the neighborhood for decades (!), no one moved there not knowing about the tradition and expectations. Sorry, not much sympathy.

There's no 2nd 'E' in Wedgwood. Yeah, it looks stupid, but that's the way it's spelled.

Absolutely wonderful greek food. The tiropitakia appetizer is amazing with any meal. Breakfast and lunch hours come with a small bowl of fruit and have a delicious meat packed gyro omellette available.
  • The Red Door Bar, liquidfish (guest) wrote 18 years ago:
The Red Door has a calm and relaxed atmosphere on week nights. The food is wonderful and there is a good selection of drinks to be had. It gets very crowded and very loud on most weekends when the crowd seem to consist primarily of fraternity/sorority types.
